GIS/WIS is an ongoing art project that explores how our world changes—both visibly and invisibly—over time.
It reflects on traces, residues, consumption, and data: what remains, what disappears, and what is transformed.

The title Gone In Seconds / Weg In Seconden refers to the speed at which images, impressions, and matter vanish—and simultaneously to the urgency of climate change, consumption, and digital systems.
This project captures fleeting moments and presents them as archives of our existence: from paint residues and coffee stains to shopping baskets and digital codes.

GIS/WIS is een doorlopend kunstproject dat onderzoekt hoe onze wereld zichtbaar en onzichtbaar verandert in de tijd.
Het gaat over sporen, restanten, consumptie en data: wat blijft, wat verdwijnt, wat wordt getransformeerd?

De titel Gone In Seconds / Weg In Seconden verwijst naar de snelheid waarmee beelden, indrukken en materie verdwijnen – en tegelijk naar de urgentie van klimaat, consumptie en digitale systemen.
In dit project worden vluchtige momenten vastgelegd en getoond als archieven van ons bestaan: van verfrestanten en koffievlekken tot winkelmandjes en digitale codes.
GIS/WIS bestaat uit verschillende hoofdstukken, elk met een eigen stem en ritme. Samen vormen ze een compositie van kleur, materie en betekenis:
