(NL) Sinds 2016 fotografeer ik landschappen op het moment dat ze voorbijgaan. Met een iPhone en een lange sluitertijd, midden op de dag, wordt elke stap beweging: bomen trillen, paden stromen, licht en bladeren lossen op in kleurvelden. Het hoofdstuk Diepenheim ontstond in het dorp en op Buitenplaats Vinckeboom: van de Grotestraat en de brocantemarkt, via Herberg de Pol en het Drawing Centre, naar de paden van Vinckeboom in het geelgroene licht van het voorjaar. De plek is exact, het moment niet.
(EN) Since 2016 I have photographed landscapes in the act of passing. With an iPhone and a long exposure in full daylight, every step becomes movement: trees vibrate, paths stream, light and leaves dissolve into fields of colour. The Diepenheim chapter was made in the village and at Buitenplaats Vinckeboom: from the Grotestraat and the brocante market, past Herberg de Pol and the Drawing Centre, to the paths of Vinckeboom in the yellow-green light of spring. The place is exact; the moment is not.
